Mission Mixed Use

Mission, British Columbia

Using the same demographic, forecasting and planning skills that contributed to the success of Whistler's Marketplace, Trilogy is currently developing in partnership with Cressey Development Corporation, Mission's newest neighbourhood shopping centre.

Located just north of downtown Mission on a principal north/south arterial road, the project will serve the growing College Heights community. Mission's population increase has been slow but steady over the past ten years; in 2004 however, its new housing starts jumped dramatically, more than doubling the 2003 figure. Significant residential development in Mission is planned for north and east of the project site; whereas most commercial activity is concentrated south and west of downtown, aligned with the Lougheed Highway and the Abbotsford connector.

With housing development rapidly superseding its retail and commercial infrastructure, this mixed use development (like Whistler's Marketplace) is poised to become an integral part of Mission's continuing growth. The shopping centre, anchored by a major food store operator, consists of four free-standing buildings, with 191 adjacent surface parking stalls. Anchor tenants will include the "branded" food store, a financial institution, a drugstore, a video store, as well as recognized coffee retailer drive-through service.
