Panorama Village Shopping Centre is located in the Panorama Ridge area of Surrey, British Columbia. Strategically situated at the corner of Highway #10 and 152nd Street, it is anchored by IGA Plus, McDonald's Restaurants, CIBC, Big Ridge Brewing Company, Subway Restaurants and a private Beer & Wine Store.
The Centre currently services over 4,000 residences in the immediate surroundings, plus draws visitors from the adjacent $1.5 million dollar YMCA facility. In addition to the existing Panorama Ridge and surrounding Newton residences, building permits for 365 housing units were issued in 2004; continuing the implementation of a major residential development plan approved by Surrey Council in 1997. Under that plan, the eventual population of the Newton/ Panorama Ridge area is estimated to grow to 20,300.
Recognizing the property's tremendous potential, Investors Real Property Fund recently purchased Panorama Village Shopping Centre, and has contracted Trilogy to undertake the development of its expansion (Phase II) on the site immediately to the east. Along with providing development management services, Trilogy is providing leasing and ongoing management services for both Phase I and Phase II.
Panorama Village Phase II will add 55,600 sq. ft of leasable area to the existing Centre, providing a total of over 130,000 sq. ft. Trilogy's leasing team is currently working with a major anchor tenant who will occupy over 16,000 sq. ft. of the newly-developed addition.
